Corn's Journey: From Farm to Bag


●Step 1: Starch Extraction
Corn kernels are broken down to extract starch, which contains long-chain carbon molecules similar to those in petroleum-based plastics.
●Step 2: Fermentation and Polymerization
The starch is fermented into lactic acid, which is then polymerized into PLA—a strong, flexible, and fully biodegradable material.
●Step 3: Resin Modification
PLA is mixed with other bio-based materials, such as PBAT, to form a modified resin, which is then used to produce durable, environmentally friendly bags.

●Pelletizing: The resin is melted and formed into uniform pellets to maintain consistency.
